1987
Foundation and first manufacturing plant
Created in 1987 to transform SMC parts for the electrical and automotive industries, ITSA starts its activities in a 2,100 m² plant in Santa Margarida i els Monjos, Spain.
1996
Launch of the automotive front-end range
The company expands its technologies with plastic injection and product lines with the launch of its front-end range, being the leader of plastic automotive aftermarket body parts.
2000
New plant in L'Arboç, Spain
ITSA moves to a 16,000 m² plant in L'Arboç. We propose now a complete scope of production and services, including engineering, transformation, painting and assembly.
2002
Pioneer in Railway Interiors
The company innovates with the production of SMC interior panels for the railway industry. We work today directly for the main OE manufacturers suc as Alstom and Siemens.
2007
New product range "Urban Products"
ITSA launches a new range of plastic and composite products for temporary civil works and utility maintenance, with a unique patented design.
2014
New branch in Bolonia, Italy
ITSA establishes a commercial subsidiary in Italy to expand its activities in the automotive sector, and offer a faster service and better customer support.
2018
New activities in Aircraft industry
ITSA expands its activities in the aerospace sector, delivering to Airbus innovative solutions based on our expertise in light SMC composite materials transformation.
2022
New plant in La Bisbal del Penedès, Spain
ITSA builds a new 33,000 m² facility in La Bisbal de Penedès to increase its activities in SMC and plastic injection transformation with new machinery.
2024
New challenges in Gaming Equipment Industry
The company develops a brand new slot complete plastic injection covering with an innovative and disruptive design by Zitro Games.
